Paint protection film is a clear film that is designed to protect your vehicles paint from rock chips and bugs to preserve the factory finish. This replaces the old black car bras, which actually would scratch the surface of your paint and would collect water underneath if they were not taken off in the snow or rain. A clear bra is good for all seasons and has a minimum 5 year warranty or longer depending on the film used. It will not come off your vehicle unless you want it taken off. It can be installed on any vehicle using pre-cut patterns specifically designed for your vehicle and custom applications can be applied as well.

Clear Bra is a common name used in place of Paint protection film.  Clear Bra was first used on Helicopter Blades to protect them from damage.  Eventually 3M came out with a thinner film called 3M Scotchgard designed to protect the finish of automobiles. This Paint Protection Film looks good yet still protects an automotive finish.

Why Clear Bra because paints are not as strong as they once were.  Now water based paints are used to be more "Green" or environmentally friendly.  Due to this they chip easily. If you are concerned about the resale and just general appearance, Clear Bra is for you.  Chips and even touch ups on your expensive new vehicle can be an eyesore so it is best to prevent them before they happen.  If you do currently have chips, the Clear Bra film can be placed over them, ideally after they have been touched up.
